Celebrating the Centenary, Lincoln’s Inn

TBC

2019 will mark 100 years since the passing of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act, which removed legal barriers to women working as lawyers on the grounds of their sex. Lincoln’s Inn is hosting an exhibition ‘Celebrating the Centenary of Women Lawyers’ from 19 July 2017 onwards, in collaboration with First 100 Years.

The exhibition has been created by Katie Broomfield, a member of Lincoln’s Inn and a Champion for First 100 Years, as part of her MA in Public History at Royal Holloway, University of London.

Join us for the launch of the exhibition on 19 July 2017 in the Old Hall Crypt between 6-8 pm for what promises to be an engaging and interesting evening celebrating the history of women in law.

Tickets are free but registration is required.
