Karen Richardson was the first female Master of the Worshipful Company of Solicitors of the City of London, in its 100th year, and the first female President of the City of London Law Society.
Other “firsts” include at university, where she was elected as the first female President of the Oxford University Law Society; in work as a solicitor, where she was elected as the first female partner of Travers Smith, and in the City of London, where she was elected as the first female Chair of the Financial Services Group of Livery Companies. She previously chaired the National Association of Women Solicitors for two years.
